Who can bivi?
Everyone should try a bivi at least once. It’s definitely an experience you will remember. Being out under the stars with your friends chatting about anything and everything and before you know it you’ve woken up and it’s light again.
Where do we bivi?
We usually go out on an evening walk in the Black Mountains and find a nice spot. As long as it’s reasonably flat it doesn’t matter where you sleep, that’s the brilliant thing about it. No need to be fiddling around with tent pegs and fly sheets, just climb into your bag!
Will I need any specialist equipment?
Not at all, we will provide you everything you need to make your night as comfortable and warm as possible on the hill. We’ll give a roll mat, a sleeping bag and a waterproof bivi bag.
