The original house was built over 350 years ago. There have been many changes since then.
Although it is an outdoor education centre now it has previously been the Longtown Courthouse and it was a pub. |

Many of the original features still remain today; low beams, oak stairs and panelling to name a few.

With our new accommodation block we now have room for up to 45 people spread over 15 bedrooms.
There are toilet facilities on every floor and a separate shower block located in the courtyard. |
Meals are eaten in our ‘restaurant style’ dining room.
The students can relax in ‘the Dens’ and ‘the Snug’. Books can be borrowed from our small but extensive library.
